In senior living, room temperature is not a preference issue. Residents are in their rooms most of the day, are more sensitive to heat and cold, and are less able to tolerate a unit that is out of service for a week.
That raises the standard for both reliability and conduct in the room.
Rooms are scheduled so service is completed and the unit is returned to operation within the visit. Crews work with containment and clean-up, coordinate with care staff, and keep the room's routine intact.
The way to avoid an unheated resident room in February is to have serviced and assessed that unit in the fall. Programs are timed ahead of seasonal demand, and deficiency lists are prioritized so the worst units are corrected before the season, not during it.
Tell us the property, equipment types and approximate unit count. We'll propose an assessment or a maintenance program that fits.
